A seminar of brand new material building on the popularity of our former Tricks of the Trade events. Whilst not for complete beginners, this seminar will offer exposure to a variety of data step, proc step and macro examples and concepts used in everyday SAS programming.

How To: Be Productive with Base SAS
Demonstrates automating the enhanced editor with macros, a selection of the 500+ data step functions from SAS9, manipulating data in the data step, joining tables and robust programming when implementing business rules.
How To: Write Professional Reports
Shows techniques for creating reports and graphs with SAS procedures and the Output Delivery System which not only look professional and of publication quality, but also make use of some output delivery system features to add visual clarity and impact to all formats of reports.

How To: Make the Most from Macros
Various uses, best practices for writing, bullet proofing, storing and sharing SAS Macro libraries are demonstrated.

How To: Share Results with Microsoft Office
Probably the most frequently asked question received as a consultant is that of transferring data from SAS to Excel. Sharing results with Microsoft Office demonstrates a variety of methods for populating Excel spreadsheets with data, Excel formula, filters and much, much more.
